Since more than 150 years the DVGW stands for safety and quality standards in the gas and water business. The association is also a platform for the multidisciplinary technical orientated exchange of experiences.

BFW – Association* of the manufacturers of district heating pipe systems
The association of the manufacturers of district heating pipe systems and accessories “Federal Association District Heating Pipes e. V.” has set itself various tasks and goals. Like e.g. the set up and monitoring of the quality and test regulations, quality assurance, proof of qualification and issuing research assignments’. When it comes to quality in the field of district heating the BFW has extensive experience. All examinations are taken by the BFW Audit Committee and an auditor from the AGFW (German District Heating Association).

figewa sees itself as an independent technical-scientific representation which campaigns active for quality management, research and development based on experiences.

OVGW – Austrian association for the gas and water business
The OVGW represents all technical, scientific, legal and economic interests in the field of water and gas. In cooperation with the members and market partners it endeavors to provide high quality drinking water on a constant base. The OVGW water department deals with creation of regulations, trainings,events and maintains relationship with media representatives, politicians, public officials and expert colleagues at home and abroad.

FHRK e.V. is a professional association for house entries for pipes and cables
In cooperation with utilities and other operators in the field of house entries FHRK has set itself the objective to develop technical secured solutions. At the GAT exhibition in 2011 the FHRK members presented the first results and the related brochure of their common development.
The FHRK e.V. - professional association for house entries for pipes and cables was established June 26, 2010 and is based in Schwerin. The association should develop and promote the interest on proper sealing of house entries.

iro - institute for pipeline construction at the University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg e.V. (registered association)

The institute for pipeline construction at the University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg e.V. or “iro” was established in 1988 as an affiliated institute. Sponsor of iro is a non-profit association with currently 250 members from research, industry, authorities and professional associations. The priorities of the association include the further education of engineers in the entire pipeline sector, the practically orientated research & development and the promotion of students.
