Description
Covalence® is one of the leading manufacturers of crosslinked, heat-shrink products, which have been used successfully for several decades in the sealing or corrosion protection of pipe joints, pipe parts and fittings. All Covalence® products represent high quality materials and are manufactured as per the highest quality standards. Therefore they support effectively the application and processing by our customers.
Many Covalence® shrink products for corrosion protection and district heating have a dimpled structure in the backing material. This disappears permanently when sufficient heat energy is applied. This means that the processing quality can still be checked years after installation.
Audited services
All Covalence® products for district heating socketsealing have passed tests at independent district heating institutes in accordance with EN 489 and are registered accordingly. The performance data determined in these tests exceed the requirements and specifications of this standard.
Notes
- As with all closed solutions, it should be noted that retrofitting is not possible.
